    Doing the Hard Work

Being a Mom (or a Dad) is hard work. Very hard! We have little people depending on us for their very survival. We have more to do than we have time, energy, or resources to accomplish – overwhelm comes with the territory.

If that were all there is to the story, I don’t think many people would sign up to be parents. Thankfully, there is also delight, wonder, and satisfaction that comes with loving the precious humans God has entrusted to us.

Whether you are in the early sleepless nights of a baby (where exhaustion is your constant companion), the struggles and tension of raising a teenager who is trying to find their independence and identity, or in the throes of sibling conflicts, know that you are making an impact. You are sowing into something and, “In due season we will reap if we don’t lose heart.” (Galatians 6:9) All of your hard work is making an impact, even if you can’t see it right now.

Especially as we celebrate Mother’s Day, we want to appreciate YOU for doing the hard work of making an investment in the next generation. All that you do as a Mama matters, and we pray that you feel seen and loved today!
